The Museum pages display my imaginary landscapes, which were associated with the Northern California Visionary Art movement. Characteristic of the movement in general, they were inspired both by traditional representational works of past artists, the sense of spiritual awareness and beauty found in nature and the contemporary countercultural Zietgeist of the 1960s and 70s. My paintings were exhibited at the Illuminarium and Isis Rising galleries, the preeminent showplaces of that school, during the 1980s. They are almost exclusively oil on board and canvas. Some of these works were also displayed in retrospective museum exhibitions of Visionary Art, including shows in 1981 and 2008.
